White Smoke when Boosting

Hi,

When driving and revving hard I get a puff of white smoke each time I change gear. The smoke is not there on start up or when driving normally.

It does not always smoke when changing gear at high boost but it does happen most the time.

With the car in neutral, if you rev the engine to around 6000 revs and let go it, I get a puff of white smoke. If i rev to around 4000 then I get now smoke.

Any ideas what it could be?

Many Thanks.

Thanks, i'll get that checked out. Any other suggestions?

Could it be the turbo considering it only smokes on high revs? I know blue soke usually means that the Turbo seals have gone but if the oil is going onto the down pipe or something then smoke will be grey/white?

To add to this problem, the car doesn't always stat first time now. It turns over but does not fire until I press the accelarator pedal.

Could this white smoke be caused by the car leaning out top end? May be because of dodgy connection to the Fuel Pump or faulty Fuel Pressure Regulator?
