which gearbox oil??

what gearbox oil is best for my 'R'?? semi or fully synthetic?? does the diff/transfer box use same oil as gearbox if not which type shall i put in there??

this is what i`m using in mine mate. tried the silcolene and this stuff seems better

Just out of interest is the "filling hole" for the gearbox on the front of the case just to the right of a casing mount?

i put 4 litres of castrol syntrax in mine last week and gear changes are a lot smoother thats in a quaife box tho,i know its one of the best ive used 75/90 gl4 not sure what is best for standard box, if thats what you have?
id still try the syntrax,
or halfords own part synthetic 75/90 that has a gl5 which is slightly better than the syntrax.
