turbo technics?

i have a nearly new turbo technics hybrid turb that came off my mates car after he wrote it off.he dont know the spec on it but if i phone turbo technics with the serial number can they tell me what it is?it seems slightly more laggy than the standard one i took out but it may just be in my head.
