Thread sizes

Hi

I am looking to buy a assorted set of nuts and bolts etc to replace old ones on the R. Does anybody know th thread type etc I need to get?

It's a Japanese car so the obvious answer is; Metric.

Obviously it depends on which nuts and bolts you want to replace, but I'd just default to something like M4-M12 coarse and make a separate purchase if you need something obscure.

Depends on the bolt but much of the time the thread pitch is 1.25mm as opposed to the more common to buy 1.5mm.

The m6 are all 1.0mm pitch though.

Get a pitch gauge, handy.

Yeah most are metric fine so id be careful on your course advice.

as above best to buy a set of pitch guages. Only a couple quid off ebay
