has any one had a problem like this. i brought a 4 paddle clutch from tecniclutch about 6-8 months ago and was pleased with it until it failed. the problem is that the clutch plate spring retainers have worn away allowing the springs to fall out. the clutch is in mint condition apart from this. cheers steve.

mate would take that crap right off your car now and get a decent clutch they are terrible! when i purchased my rust bucket it just had one put in it lasted 6 months, it also cost me a new fly wheel and it ripped the hell out of it.

if you do a search on them you will get the same advice mate

biggest piece of shit clutch you can waste your money on, we've seen the aftermath of a few of those clutches.

make sure you read the warranty small print as we got done over by them years ago because we had cleaned the fecked clutch before sending it back.

done it before so whats to stop them?

make sure you get a refund and not just a replacement, you really dont want one of those clutches in your car.

Is it that it's just a paddle replacement for the standard clutch rather than an uprated one?

as said they are truly crap!
they are made from inferior quality steel and this is why the spring retainers bend and springs drop out or rattle round.
ive seen 3 that have completely snapped the centre piece clean out, surprised its lasted you that long tbh

its a 4 paddle clutch that they told me to buy. told them that me car is running at 391 brake and they said this clutch would piss the job and be good for launches as well. the clutch clearly has not been abused as it looks near on as new as when it was fitted but just with the springs hangin out of it where the spring retainers have worn away {not snapped} cheers steve.

i must be the only one to have a techniclutch thats been good for 3 years or more now. its only a fast road clutch rated to 350bhp. the car has been running 290bhp ish for most of that time and now 320bhp. its had a lot of abuse too
