I try to save money where i can, that helps to pay for other things ;-). I can only afford to spank so much money on fuel before it just gets silly!

Good luck with the hunt for a nice R - they're out there, just not terribly easy to find. Might want to ignore everyone getting up in arms regarding the MPG debate - you want what you want and it's as simple as that, despite how you try to justify it!

Thank you, i did feel a little like i was having to justify myself. And at the end of the day, im only hoping to become a fellow member. Maybe food for thought for some people, if some such similar thread should appear in the future :roll:.

Funnily enough a friend of mine who was in the market for a GTIR pointed out your car when it was for sale on PH a short while ago, i said it looked a nice clean car 8).
