Don't know how much labour would be, but have read that shims cost £16 each from Nissan with up to 3 months wait :doh:

Unless theres something else needs doing on the engine??? You dont need to take the head off to do it ;-)

cheers guys,engine is solid just one slightly noisey shim,im just being fussy,does anyone sell recon heads whole thing re shimmed or is the nissn route the only way?,thanks again

You need to sus out which shim's the noisey one, then sus out which size you need and then ask on here. Plenty of pep's with spares.
