spark plug torque settings?

There probably is a figure, but on most engines it's not much more than 5 white knuckles. :wink: It's only an alloy head and much torque will just strip the thread. :(

ok five white knuckles it is.. i know roughly what you mean.. when it feels about right. :lol:

usually used to do it on the rover by hand, but that was a few times using the torque wrench, so you know roughly how tight.. it was an alloy head too, so it should be similar..

erm.. if anyone does know the exact figure that would be a bonus.

Hi there..



all done,

one of the spark gaps was off by .08mm so thats now sorted.

and another plug was not tight at all, did them up to 16fps of torque as that is what the rover k series alloy head is set to ... and it felt about right knuckle wise. :wink:
