safe boost setting

i need a bit of advice i have been told a good gtir engine can cope with 1.6bar of boost on standard internals no problem,what do you think?:?

i wouldn't recommend that mate, first off what does your R have ie air filter exhaust fuel pump controller

air filter,mongoose exhaust,apexi fuel and boost controllers
