rear discs???

:? are there two different thickness of rear brake discs on the r as i have seen some for sale which are thicker than my standard ones.

I'm wondering about this too - but I'm sure that ours are 33mm high whereas other discs are 45mm high ( like for the GTi).

Prob. due to the 4WD :?: Would explain why Black Diamond etc charge £100 + more for our discs than they do for the GTi, as the 33mm discs are only found on ours (checkout www.ebcbrakesdirect.co.uk for sizes)

So those ones on ebay prob. arent much good :!:

Im gona make a stab in the dark but the Hub being different dia means less area for breaking as you dont have a shaft on the Gti to worry about!

Discs are the same size / surface area @ 258mm diameter but the bit that mounts it to the hub is narrower.
