REAR BRAKES info for newbs only

right, im posting this because it isnt the first time its happened!

i recently sold a set of rear calipers to a localish lad on this site (no names, as i dont wish to embarass him)although i should
he phoned me up saying the brakes i sent were no good blah blah:doh:

so i said i would go over there and look to see, and brought a spare set with me just in case!
when i gets there, hes still trying to fit them on and in a right state, and said the pistons are seized. so i had a look and WOUND the pistons in, and said whats the prob then!!!
wasted 2hrs of my time:der:hes other brakes which he said were fcufed were'nt:roll:


so bobby's tip of the day is:

THE BL00DY THINGS WIND IN ON THE REARS, YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO PUSH THEM IN EVEN IF YOU HAVE ARMS LIKE ARNIE, SO TAKE NOTE NEWBS;-)

makes me wonder how many rear brakes ive flogged are actually needed!

but no-ones gonna own up are they, but i know of 3 on this site and the same again on the mongy site, shall i Mmmm, tempted but there dimbo secrets are safe (for the time being anyway:twisted: ):lol: :lol:

My rear calipers have been wound in and there still fooked:doh: so i would say just cus they can be wound in dosent meen there ok
