Rear brake disc

Has anyone had issues buying rear disc. I brought a set of delphi rear disc and when mounted, the disc sits to far back. Ive been looking at measurements on other suppliers and they all seem the same as my new ones. Are there different sizes?

Black diamond offer aftermarket grooved rears discs.

Worth a punt, I've had them on for 4 years

That seems to be the size I have. Not sure why other manufacturers are listing a different size

I think the other size is actually for a GTi and the vendor won't be convinced that it's not the same as a GTiR.

That must be it. Thought it was weird how most factors were saying one size but the big brands list another. Thatll teach me for trying to save money

i have both a gtir and a gti and the front discs and calipers and rear disks and calipers are different on both cars

It seems to be a common problem; they'll sell you GTi wishbones (which just have the wrong rear bushes) and insist they've never had a problem from a GTiR owner.
Same with the track rod ends, which seem to be a little beefier for the GTiR.

Gti track rods ends are m12 thread on the steering arm while pulsars are m14
