Hey Everyone. :D
I'm new here and I just bought my GTiR 2 months ago

I always knew how to read the oil temp gauge (90 degrees) and the boost gauge (mine's running stock boost) but I don't know how the oil pressure gauge works. What is the optimal reading on that gauge?

anyways so far I've got a full 3" exhaust, HKS air filter, Apexi Blow off valve and everything else is stock I wanted the most stock example I could find so I can soup it up myself.

anyways any help and advice is appreciated
cheers

I think as a usual thing, the oil pressure will sit at around 4 kg/cm2 when driving. About 5-6 when you start the car. and if the oil's really hot, mine sometimes drops down to 2-3 at idle speed.

4-5 is about the norm

when cold mine goes up to 6, then drops down to 4/5 when warm. On idle it sits at 2/3

The book figure is

Oil pressures with engine running and under no load:-

Oil pressure should be more than 0.98bar at idle
Oil pressure should be 3.5-4.5bar at 3200rpm
