Quick question on new side repeaters

The part that the bulb goes into, should there be two or three of the little bits that click into the new side repeater, cause there is 3 on my one and my new clear side repeaters have only got 2 holes :?

i fitted my clear side repeaters using bulb holders from an s12 nissan silvia ,they might be the same on other older nissan's possibly 200sx's
or maybe primera as most clear's are listed for primera's

i had the same problem and cutting them was the only solution
