Possible substitute electric window switch panel

I've been looking for a drivers side electric window switch panel, but people just want crazy money for at least a 10 year old panel which is likely to break as soon as its fitted (£130!?!).
Has anyone else noticed that the electric window switch panel is actually made to cope with 4 windows? Doesn't this imply that we might be able to take the panel (or circuit board) out of a 4 door Sunny or other nissan of that era and stick it in the GTI-R?

You could always buy one new, they're somewhere in the region of £200.

The main reason they're so expensive second hand is that most of them fcuk up at some time, so to find a working one that isn't already in someones car is somewhat of a rarity.

However I don't see any reason why the same style unit from another sunny with elec windows (if the unit is the same) shouldn't work.
