Os Giken clutch problem !

hi !

just installed a new os giken clutch(but used machined flywheel and used cover plate).
for around 250 miles everything was fine.

but now its not possible to shift gear from time to time.

ok....i tried this:

car is idlig and clutch is down - i have the typical clutch rattling because of the 2 plates
all gears are ok.

now i release the clutch and rev few times to 3000 rpm

then i press the clutch and there is no rattling from the clutch - no gear is working
when i press and release the clutch few times the rattling comes again and
all gears are working fine.

the same happens while driving and is not very funny in traffic......

any ideas ?
the system is bleeded and the pedal feels normal everytime.

is it the clutch or maybe the gearbox ?

i think its something with the clutch,because the rattling is gone when it does not work...

hi !

while driving following happens:

lets say i drive in 2nd at 3000,

when i press the clutch i can still accelerate.
i can press and release several times,the gear
does not come out. when revs go down to maybe
1000 then sometimes gear comes out and sometimes
engine goes off. (same like you try to start in gear
with released clutch)

so what can it be ? maybe the pressure plate ?
or maybe gearbox ?

any idea of the price for this part ?

i think its called cover plate,because its the

last part of the clutch.

u may need to adjust clutch on pedal adjuster/master cylinder
or lengthen the rod on slave cylinder

is it daily driver? what may have happend is that the heat has built up and the plate are crap at losing heat therefore it is likey the sandwich plate's have warped slightly and are touching the pressure plate and not cleanly disenageing.
