New Suspension

Hi

Went to get the car MOT'd today and it passed :D

However, I have been advised to sort the rear right shock out as it is leaking :(

Is it worth getting this repaired or should i just go for a new kit?

Which is the best set of shocks to go for?

Is it worth chaging the springs at the same time?

What is the difference between coilovers and regular shocks?

thanks

what does the pillow ball actually adjust? Ride height? hardness/softness?

How much is the Koni kit? I know the Tein costs the best part of £1000

It moves the shock from side to side so when you drop the car on coilovers you can set the shocks to keep you alighnment right 8)

so I will probably go for something with Pillow Ball mounts and Coilovers as I would want to adjust the ride height and softness/hardness.

Is ride height adjustable from the top of the coilover or do you have to go underneath? Hardness/softness adjustable from top of the coilover?

and anyone know the rough price of the Koni set with pillow mounts and adjustable hardness/softness?

thanks again

You have to remove wheels to adjust the ride height but the hardness/softness is adjustable from the top of the shocks 8)

think you will find that the konis, being just an insert are not compatible with camber adjustable mounts on the rear.
