Where can I get updated head gasket from 88mm bore 1.7mm thick

Tomei make one in 1.8mm thick:

(Not especially cheap though and I suspect you'll get hit with import duty.)

It doesn't look like Cosworth make one in that bore size.

Can I get smaller bore gasket like 87mm would this work or does it have to be 88mm I measured old gasket not cylinders

Measure the bore...you can get 87,88,91mm and from 1.1 to 2 mm, from hks,cosworth,tomei.

The bores are 86.5mm but old head gasket is 88mm

Am looking just for Nissan gtir head gasket will other Nissan sr20det gaskets fit theys loads of different 1s

I could be wrong about this, but I believe the technical answer is that they won't fit out of the packet. - The dowel sizes are different so you'd need to enlarge the holes in the gasket to fit the 54C block.

I can't remember if there's anything else like making an opening for oil galleries or the timing chain.

Tomei and hks bolt on as is, cosworth needs dowl holes opening up...just contact fusion motorsport and by from him.
