Gauges cluster compatibility between 1st and 2nd gen GTIR?

Hi all,

I was wondering if a gauges cluster from a 2nd gen GTIR (with hidden icons) will fit on a 1st gen?

How much effort do you want to go to?

Boby reckons that if you switch the printed circuits over they'll work, but it's not possible to just whack them in without doing that first.

Is just the speedometer a direct swap from one cluster to another? (2ng gen to 1st gen)

Yes they will just swap straight over

I think I'll give the whole swap way with switching the back boards... the newer gen is looking better than the old one

the japanese clusters "only" reads up to 180kph, and I like rare stuff, oh well!
