Checking Power to Fuel Pump

Is there anywhere to check the power to the fuel pump without pulling the pump out of the tank.

Just want to make sure there's power getting to it.

Any connectors in the boot or anything??

Alternatively, could I just pull the pipes off the fuel filter and turn the motor over? Should get fuel everywhere if the pump's working?

Yes lift up the boot carpet you will see a metal cover on the passenger side leading to the top of the tank remove the cover from the tank and and you will see the connectors for the fuel pump and the fuel gauge etc the fuel pump is the connector with two wires. Push the leads from a meter in to the connector and you will be able to check the voltage.

Have alook in the boot where you access the top of the tank, the connections should be there.

You could also do it the other way, but have something to collect the fuel in if it does come out (under pressure )
