carbon bonnet do i need bonnet pins

i fitted a carbon bonnet the other day and are useing the std catch do i need bonnet pins aswell

What make bonnet is it? I had a CFX carbon/kevlar bonnet and never used pins, but they are probably recommended as a back up.

I'd go with pins on the Knight racer bonnet as it's a cheapish one.
I never saw my CFX one move around, even at my lowly top speed of 123mph. (wouldn't like to comment on say 160mph though)

i only drive normal on the roads but i will fit some before i start doing 1/4 miles this year
