Car Battery

I am gonna do my battery relocation very soon and will be swapping from my tiny jap battery to a full size battery for the resistance reasons etc

My question is will any one do or has it got to have a certain ampage etc

ive just used a astra battery as its a bit bigger than teh normal one and does teh job
some say u should use a sealed battery if inside the car i had a small pipe on the vent of the battery going down through the floor

I fitted a massive 900 amp hour Jobie from a diesel motor :wink: .

If you put the battery in a proper sealed box, you can then just vent the box.

I used a Halfords HCB005 (with 510 cold cranking amps)

Yep fill yer boots. Big as you like as long as it's 12 V.

The starter will pull what amps it needs, you can't overload it with a bigger battery.... just means you can turn it over for longer before the battery goes flat.
