brake pads

what is a good choice of pads for hispec billet 4 the one on there need warming up before they work well.. as im only doing road use i will need to change them

I just put on a set of EBC Greenstuff and they are working fine in the one day i've been using them.

I had a set of mintex on them before though and they were amazing.

Mintex 1144 for road use
Minext 1155 for fast road/perhaps the odd trackday
CarboTech for hard track use

...don't forget to up-rate the rear pads

Where is the best place to get them from ,i have the 310mmx28 kit with ebc greenstuff and i don't rate the pads

Shop around for the best price, try your local Mintex supplier, Demon Tweeks and Carbotech Europe in Cumbria.

what do you ask for as the 4 pots are not car related

iirc Hi-Spec use a Volvo backing plate.

If you have any old backing plates from your Hi-Spec's then send them direct to Mintex and they will re-pad them.

Im not to sure what pads they are due to me getting them second hand...there is apec stamp on the backing plate ??
