I am not sure but Possibly because he has to get it off AP engineering which is why it says AP PFC. I have not followed it up as I was just looking at options.

Could simply be the fact that he'd have to source it from a different supplier. He regularly has Power FC's for sale so he possibly orders them in bulk for a good discount - the AP one for the GTI-R could almost be described as a specialist application.

Why are you paying extra for your trigger disc should be supplied with the ECU....
MOtec works out about 4000aud just for the ecu and cant even get auto tune to work properly....
Plus the benifit of this ecu as that its a map senor ecu so u dont require a afm
