anyone made their own decat pipe?

just clutching straws here but has anyone done so and was it easy? just thinking about the lambda sensor thingy :?

Shouldn't be that hard if you've got the materials and the tools.

Don't recon you need to worry about the "lambde sensor thingy" as it's just a heat sensor for the cat.
You could allways weld a nut in to the pipe with the right thread on it, but I wouldn't bother.

Do you have a A/M downpipe? and do you need the cat for MOT etc? if not you could allways just knock the insides out of it

thought about knocking the insides out of it!! but theres always a 'what if!!'. i may go down to SDL and buy a bit pipe and a couple of flanges :? not looking forward to fabricating it though!!!

If you're after doing this any time soon and you want some measurements, I just happen to have a mongoose decat pipe/box lying in the flat that I've not got round to fitting yet :roll:.

Still recon it would be easier to
