AFM Cleaning

Hey guys, just a quik question

I used my car to travel 250kms a day (freeway driving) for a week an a half (for work, and they paid me travel allowance) but now when i take it for a drive and say stop at a set of lights, the revs kind of hover around 1,200 rpm, sometimes it settles down and sometimes it doesn't. Im pretty sure it doesnt have anything to do with the idle screw or anything, as the car was working fine before. Also on my little Air/fuel gauge rather than being on closed loop on stand still it goes to rich and stays there.

So i kinda think its the AFM being dirty from all the Freeway driving.

So here comes my question, what is the best way of cleaning the AFM, and with what? Metho?Petrol?Diesel?Carbi Cleaner?

cheers

Gino

PS i'll prob be grounding it while i muck around cleaning it

I'd dip it in petrol, but I wouldn't touch it, its extremely fragile....

I sprayed carb cleaner in mine, then blew it out with an airline
