Advice on g/box and engine oil

What oil would you recommend for the above?

And the cheapest place to get them from?

Varys on different forums but i used 80w90 gl5 in the diff and transfer box and trx gl-4 75w90 in the gearbox

I'd probably just put 75W90 gear oil in both, but the important thing is to use something suitable for synchromesh transmissions in the gearbox (which probably means GL-4). - If not you'll just crunch gears.

I tend to use the Silkolene (now Fuchs) esther fully synthetic in mine. - I like the idea of that better than a synthetic olefin, but I'm not sure if it really makes a difference.

Sorry that was for someone else. Go to the local factors and ask them to get it in for you or even euro shite parts.

I typically buy it from Opie oils, but I keep thinking that Fuchs is only in Hanley so it's crazy to ship the oil to Cornwall and back to Stoke.

Look on opieoils.com generally cheap stuff is £40-60 for 5 litres and decent as Pobody reccomended is £80+ Silkolene SILKTRAN SYN 5 75W-90 Fully Syn Gear Oil


Have a shop about on eBay etc see if there is anywere cheaper but Opie is quitr good if you can get a deal.
