i have got 3 quotes of various dealers to get my car to over a reliable 300+bhp. I will not disclose there details, but i will choose one of them to do my r.
What i wanted to know before i hand my car in for the week is how much you think it should cost.

the package for this includes fitting, e.g i hand my car in and have it back all sorted. How much do you think?

Greedy profec b boost controller
walbro fuel pump
ngk spark plugs
dastex unichip
helix organic clutch
rolling road set up and tune

i like the way u put reliable and 300bhp in the same sentance lol,the engine was made ten years ago for 226bhp or watever they were and for anyone to say they will b reliable at 300hp is wrong reallyand i reckon in typical tuning company style thats gonna cost u around £2000 for parts and fitting.o and mayve u shouls post the company's.not so people can slag them off but so people can comment on who they think better

I know two garages both jap specialists, and one charges double the labour of the other so the cost could be a big factor depending on were you take it :?

boost controller - £250
fuel pump - £150
plugs - £60
clutch - £300

dastek £650 fitted and mapped so includes your RR tune

so £1410 on parts.

Probably £200 to fit boost controller
and £40 to fit plugs
£400 to do clutch (change waterpump at same time)
£40 to fit fuel pump

so labour £680

total £2090

So i'd expect cheapest to be £1800 and most expensive £3000

but between £2000-£2200 i'd say is about right, anything more is taking the piss.
To be honest spark plugs take 5 mins to change especially as you have front mount but bet they charge an hours labour

Tell us what you've been quoted even if you dont name who it is

Other than the chip and the clutch the other stuff is a Haynes 3 spanner job ie not that tough so if you wanna save a few quid get the parts and do that first then drop it off for the chip clutch and set up
