i was going to run my car but the boost controller is playing silly boogers and now ive dropped to a 1 bar mong on 3071 so not worth showing myself up with that untill i get the boost setup correctly:lol:
me and joe spent two hours ragging it up n down but now its worse than ever:doh:, still at least the quaife wont be in danger of exploding all over the strip

bit late steve, we tried setting it up tonight but failed dismally:doh: its only just running a bar boost so il look a pratt going down the strip in that with gti-r us plastered all over the car (not a good advert is it):lol:
and after my last attempt at setting the controller up in a rush i blew my engine to pieces so not risking it again, il leave that to people who know how to do it this time;-)

It was great to meet a few of you today and a very good event with some lovely motors there.

DP ran a record 10.6 @ 133mph in Craig's motor after a couple of changes which was really impressive and can see that car running even quicker soon.

Had a couple of races on the way home and pleased to report the GTiR was victorious so great news.

first time on quarter and managed:

1st run - 13.5150 @ 104.57mph
2nd run - 13.3129 @ 105.77mph
3rd run - 12.8895 @ 105.26mph

chuffed with the last one.

I couldnt believe how many R's there were running today, and i saw what i assume is the DP car (white with black slipstreams?) do some very quick times, one of which being a 10.8 :shock: didnt see the 10.6 though, wow.

Good times them mate. What power you running? I've got 1 pic of ur R and 1 or 2 videos of you down the strip 8) I'll see if i can upload this evening, will let u know here.... Yeah that white R with the black bonnet?? Who does that belong to? That is really fast that one! Have a video of that too but dont think it was his best run of the lot. (Still bloody good though!)

i did'nt get to be on the stand for long i was busy launching :lol:
best time was a 13.1 and 105 terminal, bit dissapointed not to crack the 12's but not to bad for 275 hp

Yeah not bad mate! At least you had the balls to run your R ;-) Are you on my list of reg numbers above???

Steve I will upload what I have now, only got a few, people walking past all the time when trying to take pics was pissing me off!! Not sure if they are calendar material though!!! Will upload them here shortly....

Well I had an interesting day today... :roll:

With only 5hrs sleep in the last 24hrs+, Rockstar Energy Drinks made a small increase in sales today... :sad:

Nice to chat to a few of you, apologies to others that I didn't speak to (I think that probably would have been best in my lethargic state!)

Good to see some decent times from the drag strip and a nice turn out of GTiR's.

After my attempts with my RWYB’s I’ve decided to throw in the towel with drag racing as…well…I’m crap at it!!! :lol: :roll:

Think I’ll stick to trackdays :thumb:
