Y bracket

Hi on the y bracket there's a sensor I think it's the power tranistor! Now I've taken my y bracket out! Were do I put this? Dose it earth to what ever it's bolted to?

hi i just made up an alluminium l shaped bracket and bolted it to the head, yes should earth throught the bracket. although my power transistor still had the paint on the back of it so not sure if it actually earths through the body , jim.

Ok I take it it earths throw the loom then! What dose it do exactly?

This might sound stupid but is the ignition module and the power transistor the same thing?

you need to place it on a bracket of some sort to take away the heat from the ignition module

Right ok so they are the same thing! Mine is jst cable tied out the way! Has any one got a picture or were is the best place to put it?
