wobbly gearstick question

i read on here a while back that the "wobbly gearstick" when in neutral is a common thing, something to do with a worn/loose spring in the gearbox?

clutch is gonna be changed v. soon, so is this an easy job to perform while engine is out to change the clutch?

not an easy job, but easier when the engine is out :wink:

Check your spring is still there, directly below the lever under car on the linkage. 8)
