Windscreen surround top section

I need a replacement top section of the external surround due to a windscreen fitter.

I can get the part number of mine for you. I had the same thing happen

I had a new one put in when my windscreen was changed... lasted about a week before it flew off on the motorway.

Seems like this might be a common problem?
