reason to buy these is because its about 600 quid all in then u just need to get machine work done

there is only a couple of mm difference between the standard piston cut-out and the bottom skirt of the CP's. If you were _really_ careful and had some pretty accurate scales you could do them at home with a file ;)

Why mess about when GTiR 87mm forged pistons can brought for less than £400. That price is delivered from the States!

I thought that most people tend to limit themselves to 87/88mm for diameter because of the strength of the block and thus people really wanting 2.2 litres go for increased stroke?

the reason for these is the the gtir has a briliant bore stroke ratio as standard and is still very good when using a 90mm piston so u stick a liner in that strengthens the block for starters then u can bore it to give a 2.2 capacity that will spool turbo faster etc make car more torquey, also still be able to rev the engine to 9k which is a rarerity with most stroker kits as you normally increase stroke and retain piston size ie on the evo to change the capacity to a 2.3 you end up with 100mm stroke and 86mm pistons which limits revs to a maximum 8-8.5k rpm
