My R needs the valve clearence's doing as its tapping like an old fiesta. I think its getting worse the more i drive it and i can't stop my right foot pushing that little pedal all the way down. The problem is i can't afford to have it re-shimmed just yet (500 quid
) and im worried that im gonna do more damage to my motor. What do you reckon? Should i stop using it untill i've got it fixed or will it be ok to drive and not damage any thing else. It still drives fine by the way and hasn't lost any power. Any advice would be much appreciated. Cheers.
