Wide band AFR set up

I’ve done a search on here and came across something about not being able to use the current lambda location in the down-pipe and that a new hole and boss weld needs doing.

Can anyone elaborate as I need to buy one ( wide-band AFR ) and would like to know what I’m in for when it arrives.

It'll usually say in the instructions a certain distance from the turbo and on an angle to prevent water collecting, I put mine just past the flexi section of the front pipe as it sits nicely in the tunnel away from the prop and the wiring runs up the bulkhead behind the steering rack.

60cm from turbo is a good recommended distance and between 10 and 2 o’clock. Will read accuratly
