yo!

i`ve had a loud whine coming from my engine for some time, sounds like a belt slipping. i`ve been informed that it could be the cam chain tensioner that has broke.

well next week my engines coming out for a while so while its out i thought i`d fix it, anyone know where i might find it(ie inside the block, outside)

thanks.

Have you checked to make sure it isn't a belt?
Alternator bearing?
I think the timing chain tensioner is in the head.
