what turbo & injectors would you use??

im lookin to uprated my turbo & other bits
this is my spec at the moment:-
Full hiteq rebuild
Fully lightened and balanced bottom end inc. flywheel
HKS Pistons
HKS Liner (good for over 400 bhp)
HKS cams
HKS pulleys
HKS 1.2mm head gasket
HKS SSQ blow off valve
HKS Super AFR
HKS Bluelight Boost Gauge
HKS turbo timer
HKS down pipe
Hiteq uprated fuel pump
Hiteq uprated fuel rail
Hiteq alloy intercooler piping
Hiteq Paddle clutch
huge front mount intercooler
Aliuminum radiator
Apexi AVC-R
Apexi ITC
Stainless steel header tank, steering pot, fuse-plug-dizzy cover
Nismo engine mounts
Mongoose Exhaust with 3.5" tail pipe and decat
Blitz filter with alloy pipe straight off turbo
Battery location kit
Turbo dynamics Hybrid Turbo with 360 deg. Thrust Bearing etc.
D2 adjustable coilovers
Whiteline handling kit inc. Adjustable rear anti roll bar
Tein adjustable top mounts

bigger rear disc's
quick shift
what else would i need to do to get it pumping more BHP
what would i need to change when i uprate my turbo??????

you didn't mention what power u want...

you've prob got 350bhp spec there... mayb less..

you want;
-ecu, power fc or emanage
-700cc injectors
-z32 air flow meter...
-bigger turbo?

then over 400bhp is yours... thats new gearbox power...

do a search on turbo's if uprating... 3071 the weapon of choice for low lag 400+bhp...

at mo ur afm and injectors are stopping you see past 340ish bhp..

a good map is needed too of course...

Still waiting on some shims!
You will need:

  • ECU
  • Injectors
  • Turbo
  • Manifold and External Wastegate - depending on what turbo setup you require
  • Z32MAF or MAP, EGT, Air Intake Temp Sensors - depending on the ECU setup
  • Quaife or PPG Gearbox
  • Clutch - depending on what torque you are aiming for and what your current one is good for
  • ARP Rod Bolts - i'm sure Ian has got that into your build already

You're looking at another £10k+ for all that..

You can do it cheaper but its cutting corners and will bite you in the ass later... That should get you started though..

it was running at 340bhp on 1.1psi be4 the head gasket went & ive just put 18'' on it, but i cant turn the boost up ova that????

You can turn the boost up over 1.1bar on that spec. I ran 1.4 bar on my standard turbo before I replaced it.

You can run 1.4 on the standard turbo but it won't last long, 1.2 bar is the safe limit for the OEM turbo.

Also, just remember, because of your choice of 18" wheels you will be putting alot more strain on the whole drive train.
