what plugs

I am about to fit some new plugs and i dont know what ones are correct. I am going to fit NGK iridium`s, i have been told that ...as my car is modified to about 290bhp i will need one grade cooler as a plug, that meens (i have been told) BKR8EIX instead of BKR7EIX. Is this right?

I'm not sure the numbers are correct, but they do need to be one grade colder than standard.

yeah its correct... bkr8eix if you look on sparkplugs.co.uk thats what they list.
