what pistons and rods to get?

what forged pistons and rods do people recomend? its for a street car hoping to run no more than about 400bhp.

pistons people use hks, cp, je, etc

rods would be overkill for 400bhp

Yes totally agree, either HKS or JE 87mm pistons with standard rods.

If you want, get the rods polished and balanced and make sure you use ARP rod bolts!

Yes, when my engine was built I had the entire bottom end balanced (crank, rods with pistons & flywheel).

Yes, as my rods are standard and the car will be at 450hp soon. Currently on 378hp on low boost.

I am going to hand in the crank and block for some touchups, so I might as well do the rods as well then. Should save me a little over pauters. ^^

wiesco pistons i cant fault them i didnt want to waste my money on hks ones as the wiesco's are just as good if not better in my opinion.
rods are easily good for 450bhp as long as everything is lightened and balanced properly .
