what are the simtons of the det sensor

i want to know why my det sensor has a fault can it be due to the fact that i hav used to full tanks of 95 ron coz my car is spose to be runnind 1.5bar .

i have wriiten a post before about this problem but now i want to know what shall i do about it ?

get it rolling road tuned?

i am based in Ilford essex does any know any pulsar specialist close to me because i dont want to go to any one who dosent know about pulsar

If the ecu is showing fault code 34 then its either the sensor knackered or more likely the wiring to the sensor is broken, bad connection etc somewhere in the loom
If the sensor is picking up genuine det then there will be no fault code (as the sensor is working properly) but you will feel the car is hesitant and holding back abit you'll also find it will seem to start pulling well from low rpm then you'll feel it drop off abit which is most noticable in the lower gears
As a side note if you've got a problem developing in the engine the det sensor will pick it up long before you actually hear it.

The lower octane fuel would not damage the Det Sensor but your engine would be detonating.

As above, the 3,4 code means either the sensor or it's wiring is faulty.

If the ecu detects that the Det Sensor is faulty (i.e. you get a 3,4) then it retards the ignition so you can't do any damage.
