got the usual water leak from the vents
while im sorting the leak out soon ,ive run the car a couple
of times with the plug no1 totally submerged in water
it spits and pops once warmed up letting me know its drowning

what i need to know is a plug no good after its been scuba divin
it looks ok but some brown scorchio marks up the porclain
insulation must earthin out but does it mean its no good after
wards

car does have a misfire gonna run it with that lead off c if the misfire
is stiil there

Should be fine if its been wet....if there is a prob youll get i misfire. aslong as it runs ok itll be fine

Some of the other victims of water in the plug hole have had good results sticking their plugs / leads and dizzy in a very low oven for a few hours - about 75 deg C I think.

Check some other threads.

When it happened to me I used a towel to mop up the water and dry the lead but then it hadn't been sitting in it for long as I'd just jet-washed it and it wouldn't idle properly when I came to move the car.
