copied from a how too guide need a sump plug with thread to accomidate temp sensor , or would buying just a brass one and rilling and tapping it work(not sure if the guy did that anyway )
why not just get a sandwich plate and a sendor unit with a guage, that would be easier and getting a oil temp from the sump wouldnt give an accurate reading. Would save you a lot of hassle...
Riske I already have a sandwich plate with my oil cooler but as ita onlt got the 2 fixings i dont wanna get another and east money with the one I have so sump is easiest way for me to get a Reading ,
Yeah 1 for temp 1 for pressure???!!! So your already sorted? No other readings can be taken from the oil can it, thats all you need. Dont understand why you would need this hassle when you already have an appropriate way with the sandwich plate. Just buy a guage that has the sendors with it which you will need anyway if you go down you route and instead of connecting it to the sump connect it to your sandwich plate. Am i missing something here or having a thick moment?
got the guage hooked up just need the sender fitting , the sandwich plate i have is a mocal one but only has the two fittings for the cooler nothing else ,but it would cost me 50 notes to get one witch allowed for sensors as well as the cooler,
