water!!!!!

right was changing my plug's ,,when i took of lead's off and shock horrer...!!!!!!!:x
popped off leads to find water in the channels.!!! and cant change no.1 and 2 plugs yet...as water will go in the barrels..!
now question is con i let that water into the piston's!!!!
my head says no ,but its only a little bit..so will i be ok.???

and now got plug cover,so wont happen again..

and left them to dry out covered up but water dont seem to go away...

I wouldn't risk it even if it is only a small amount as water dosen't compress as well as air does!

Just poke a bit of rag or something down around the plug to soak it up ;-)

done that mate,,and only a bit left around the bottom of the plug..! and cant get at it,,it's only about a teaspoon full...!! but just cant seem to find a way to clear it.

Get the engine up to temperature and let the water evaporate?

Take the plugs out anyway, then turn it over with them out and let the pistons pump the cylinders dry?

Like pobody and nissans rule said. It worked for the Top Gear guys too, when they put that Toyota Hilux in the channel. I'm pretty sure the cylinders were completely full of water but they removed all the plugs and cranked it and that was that! :)
