Water Belt tensioner thread

Can some one tell me the thread size on the bolt for the water pump tensioner please.

I've shearred the end off mine whilst changing the belt yesterday :doh:

There should be another bolt that, once you have tensioned the belt, you should tighten holding it all in place.

In a nut shell (if it makes sense) use a bar or something strong to push and tighten the belt, while holding, then tighten the holding bolt and that should do it.

Cheers, sounds like a plan, what did you lever against to pull the belt tight? Access seems pretty limited being down the back of the engine.

I used the removable handle (rubber grip end) from my Halfords Car jack :thumb:
