uprated actuator? SOLVED+RESULTS

Has anyone who fitted a hybrid turbo also fitted an uprated wastegate actuator?
My problem is that from about 1.45-1.5 bar the wastegate (and also the actuator) gets pushed open, as a result I can't get any higher boost...
My actuator still is the standard one since I only brought the turbo to the guys who buitl it for me.
Any suggestions on an uprated one anybody?

yeah i had the same turbo with my last turbo one my new one ive got a 1 bar actuator and its holds loads of boost no probs

dont want it to stiff though as it can cause spiking etc

1 bar should be fine unless u wanna run well over 2 bar

just out of interest will the standard turbo make more than around 1.4-1.6 bar boost? im sure ive seen 1.4 at the most when i accidently left the pipe off the actuator.

yeah it may make upto 1.6 some may have seen more depends on actautor condition etc
but i had the jgybb37 with a standard actuator and it wouldnt hold more than 1.6 bar and by 7.5k it had dropped to 1.4-5

Problem solved.
Result is a steady pressure of 1.6 bar.
Did a BHP test on the RSM at this pressure and it told me there were 407 nice little horses (@6661 rpm) walking around under the bonnet.
I guess It'll have to do for now.... :twisted:
