unichip?

my r had a unichip fitted at powerstation by the previous owner,just wondering is the chip inside the ecu or is it external? and if its inside the ecu how do you go about getting it mapped?

i heard on here that somebodys really good at mapping unichips but cant remember who it was???

the reason i ask is because i had a quick look where the ecu is and couldnt see anything there,there was somewiring spliced into the loom but i think that is the apexi avcr. my car is running 550cc injectors so would have thought the chips gotta be there somewhere,thats why i wondered if its inside the ecu or what...?

To be honest I would ditch the Unichp and get a proper form of management mate

ive heard theyre good for the job for anything up to 370bhp, just trying to find where the blooding thing is!

aha just had a better look and it has been tucked undeneath the ecu. =)

so whos good at mapping these then and how much are we talking?

a unichip is just a piggerback ecu i had 1 on my old car for over 3years runing 340bhp they are good for about 380-400bhp just rember any ecu is only as good as the person who maped it
