Tyre Choice

Right, my tyres are about to explode (no tread left) so going for one of the following. What’s best of this lot. Have Toyo T1-S’s at the moment, quite good really.

Proxes T1-R - £33 each
Eagle F1 GS-D3 £37 each
Yokohama AVS Sport £36 each
R888 - £63 :-D

I want the R888’s cos they’ll be great I know, and good’n lethal in the wet probably. But are they worth almost double the price?

R888s might even work out 4 times the price as you'll probably go through them twice as quick:doh:

I've found Bridgestone RE720s to be more reliable than Toyo Proxies, seem to last much better too as I only got 9K out of my T1-Rs before

The 888's if you can afford it

T1r's are really good have them at the min..

i got tir's 16 in done 400 miles i am going to sell them and buy r888 pm me if you want them 215/40/16

Ive had F1's Amazing tyres in the wet but nothing special in the dry, Got yoko parada spec 2's atm love the tread pattern (Half way between the 888 and T1) cars been off the road so cant tell you too much about them yet though.

stick with the T1-R's thats the same price i get mine for sure you couldnt beat it with a big stick!!

How much are the parada jobs, and where from?

I'm running 15's, so tyres are a bit cheaper.

I get them £72 a tyre trade thro my mate at motorworld but for 17's

any 1 tryed ROadHOG great tyres cheap as chips, great for drifting
