turbo, supercharger and nitrous

fusion motorsports k10 micra is now running, turbo, supercharger and nitrous
just been for a passenger ride and couldnt stop grinning lol we've built a mini monster
its a .9litre engine doing torque figures you would get from a 3 litre
ill try get some film up later but speed its screams through the revs is silly gonna give it a run against a gtir on standard boost later and see what happens
roll on the pod in a few weeks

Question.. maybe a stupid one.. but... How does a turbo and supercharger work together? Never understood that one Do you use the super charger to get the low down power and then as and when the tubby is spooled up let that take over for the rest of the revs?

yeah thats its pretty much has about 9 metres of vaccum pipe that controls a series of valves and butterflys so that as a set rpm is reached the supercharger is bypassed and turbo is reaching full boost

7yeah its a maze of pipework but theory seems pretty simple at present it makes .7 bar at 2k with a spring change we could see upto 1.4 bar from teh supercharger and turbo runs 1.6 bar freespooling or 1.8 when teh nitrous is on

mapping is more compilcated than a standard turbo car but with the emanage we can also control when nitrous comes in and out and then map as needed
