turbo selection...for turbo experts

hi, i am searching for a new turbo for my gti-r.
i am running 1,1 bar boost on standard internals, but wnat a turbo that can run 1,4 bar safetly.which is a good turbo to go for?
i want it to spool up as quick as standard.
where can i buy it ?in the usa?
what about the silvia s15 turbo?is it a good option?i don't want a monster size turbo and must be a direct fit.

The S15 turbo will give you quicker than standard spool because its ball bearing but it will run out of breath on the top end.

the HKS GT2530 (Rated for 320bhp max)

or the Garret GT28R (Rated for 310bhp max)

You will love either turbo.....where as the HKS is going to be around US$1600 the Garret is US$775...hmmm which one to go for

thanks for the info.....i really don't know too much on turbos!!
i think the garret one would be better...it is cheaper!!!
do you think the compressor size, a/r etc are good for the gti-r?will it give good top end power too?

it will have more lag than the standard turbo. But you will have very nice top end power.

all of them fit the standard manifold. It is up to you which is the best for your needs.

how about the garret gt28-rs or the hks equvilent good all round turbo
the main diference are the trim and wheel dia.
oh and the price :lol: it wired how they both rated at different power levels.
