ok just took my top mount off as i thought my turbo was the cause of the blue/white smoke i get onlift off after hard acceleration. however their is some oil in the intercooler pipe but ai the pelum end not really any at the turbo side of the cooler. so i was wondering if their are any other reasons for this oil cotanination ?ie blocked breather or something, as i see their is a breather on the rocker

i think its normal to get abit of oil in the intercooler mate.pull the inlet pipe off the turbo and feel the shaft for play. a little side to side movement is ok, but if you can pull the shaft in and out 9/10 times its ****ed.

the standard oil separator is crap this is common in all R's mate, what you need to do is fit a oil catch can, this will remove all the oil from the air returned to the intake, there is a "how to" on the forum here, i noticed a decrease in the amount of oil in one week of fitting my Megan Racing oil catch can
